Postfire LA
Building the plane as we fly it
PostFire LA is a network of communal aid volunteers that has sprung up since January 8th to help survivors of the LA Wildfires. After losing his home, iO began sharing information he found useful in his own recovery process. He is now working to share credible, practical guidance, and to facilitate mutual aid across all fire survivors and the city of LA. With a strong focus on keeping Altadena out of the hands of developers, a team of people has come together under the banner PostFire LA, facilitating expert Q&As, a user-generated resource forum, a PostFire administrative assistant program, and a number of direct relief resources.
If you have something you’re good at, and an idea of how to turn it into a resource, get in touch. We’d love to hear from you.
