iO was a featured contributor to T, The New York Times Style magazine for two years. His columns documented underground performance, and highlighted creators he found interesting. He was commissioned by New York Magazine to document Underground Male Model Boxing, Queer couples in love for Vogue, and the Whitney Gala for Liberation in France, amongst many others.
